Joseph Gray Joins Axius Group as Chief Operating Officer

WICHITA, October 14, 2021 – Axius Group (“Axius”), a leading provider of dynamic outsourced engineering and technical solutions to customers in Aerospace & Defense markets, is pleased to announce that Joseph Gray has joined the company as Chief Operating Officer. In this role, he will be instrumental in program management and providing quality engineering and programming services to customers.

Mr. Gray is a proven leader with over 25 years of program management and CNC programming experience. Previously, he was head of the Engineering department at LMI Aerospace (“LMI”), where he was responsible for program management and oversaw all elements of the company’s engineering departments, supporting aircraft product lifecycles from design to fleet support. During his time at LMI, Mr. Gray was instrumental in the design and development of strategic company initiatives that have and will poise LMI for further success. He also played a key role in the evaluation and workup of large, complex sourcing packages from major Aerospace OEMs and Tier one suppliers.

Prior to LMI Aerospace, Mr. Gray held a variety of NC programming roles at Best Tool and Manufacturing, Inc. (“Best”), and ultimately led their CNC production and engineering departments. While at Best he supported, then managed, the development and production ramp up of Military, Agriculture and Automotive contracts. Prior to Best, Mr. Gray began his career as a Tool Maker at Dickerson Tool & Engineering, primarily supporting the automotive sector.
